Based in the Department of Architecture at Cambridge University, Jamie Anderson is currently undertaking a PhD, having previously worked as an urban designer for 6 years and at URBED for another 5. His research focuses on outdoor neighbourhood spaces in terms of their role in supporting positive, enduring mental health – which he describes as ‘flourishing’. Jamie’s interests in people-environment interactions and positive urbanism are captured by his eye-catching personal website, where he explores these topics through another of his passions: photography.
Thematic 1 of this year’s Conscious Cities conference looks at the interplay between urban environments and mental health issues, and so it is with great pleasure that we welcome Jamie to speak in under 4 weeks’ time.
